Our Lady of the Lake’s nine-story, 330,000-square-foot Heart & Vascular Institute brings the highest level of patient care to our Greater Baton Rouge and south Louisiana communities in a single, healing environment.
Designed in partnership with physicians, nurses and other clinical team members, the facility features a universal patient floor where you can access the full continuum of care and stay in the same private room throughout the healing process. Our intensive care rooms also include sleeping accommodations for loved ones, and the unit design was named the best in the country by the Society of Critical Care Medicine for having the ideal patient- and family-focused elements to promote recovery.
