I am passionate about creating a supportive and motivating environment where members feel confident in their fitness journey. By combining my clinical expertise with fitness programming, I ensure safe, effective, and personalized approaches that help individuals reach their goals while reducing the risk of injury.
Known for my strong work ethic and ability to connect with people, I take pride in educating and empowering others to take control of their health. My mission is to inspire lasting lifestyle changes through movement, consistency, and a commitment to overall wellness.
Ben Barlow is the head personal trainer at St. Dominic Fitness Center, where he works with a wide range of clients to improve health, fitness and physical function.
Ben brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to St. Dominic Fitness Center. He earned a Bachelor’s in Sports Coaching Education with a minor in History from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a master’s degree in applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning, from Concordia University, Chicago. With a strong interest in exercise physiology, Benjamin focuses on understanding how the body works and using that knowledge to create sustainable training strategies.
Ben’s favorite quote: “The methods are many, but the concepts are few”. This principle reminds us that health, fitness and nutrition don’t have to follow a one-size-fits-all approach. As long as key concepts are adhered to, individuals can find success through methods that suit their preferences and lifestyles.

Whether she’s guiding a beginner through a first workout or pushing an experienced athlete to their next milestone, Rachel brings the same passion: helping people show up for themselves and leave feeling stronger than when they walked in.
When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her practicing law as a prosecutor for the State of Mississippi or as a judge advocate for the Air Force, kayaking or paddle boarding on the Reservoir or cheering on her clients’ wins — big and small.
